Whole Foods 2 Week Trial Update

6/25/2015

Comments

I recently ran a 2 week trial of eating whole foods (not shopping at Wholefoods) as an assignment for my Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition.  I only needed 5 participants for the assignment, but had 15 participate.  WOW!

Thank you to all of those who participated.   You did AWESOME!

I am still gathering all the data to perform an official comparison but here is just a sample of some of the foods that the group prepared (click on the photo for a brief description):

Here are a few comments that people shared with me afterwards also:

“Overall, I feel so much better eating REAL food than (processed food)….Thank you for doing this! I learned a lot.”

“This was a great 2 week trial of healthy eating. My body does tend to agree with me a lot more when I put natural and healthy foods into my body.  I can’t wait to see more results as I try to continue eating this way! Thank you!”

“Thanks for allowing (us) to participate in the trial. It was fun, different, challenging at times and you really learn that eating “clean” curbs the cravings and no matter how much sleep you may or may not have had, I still had a ton of energy………I feel like a teenager again!”

“First week into it, my body felt terrible…I felt better week 2. I only really crave good “whole foods” now…My sugar cravings decreased…”

“I just wanted to thank you Carolyn for the opportunity to be in this program! These past two weeks gave me a lot of invaluable information on eating "whole." Whole milk in my coffee, whole milk yogurt, whole milk ice cream was a great "aha" moment in terms of feeling full. That frozen fruit "ice cream" has really helped my sweet tooth. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!”

This is only the beginning!

Cheers to YOU for your hard work.

Remember, it is not selfish to take care of yourself it’s necessary.  And as you “bloom” people will begin to notice and little “ripples” will start around you.
